Hi everyone, my name is Johanna and I’m excited to use this blog to teach you about the ancient art of tea, the history of the culture surrounding tea and, hopefully, show you how to enjoy tea in fresh and modern ways. The history of tea and the traditions that surround this versatile drink go back thousands of years. My personal history with tea goes back to a surprise visit to a tea house with my sisters when I was a young girl. An hour after I took my first sip of tea out of an impossibly dainty china cup, I knew I was hooked for life. Since that day I have spent my leisure time learning all I can about tea and the traditions that surround it. Come join me on an exciting (and delicious!) learning adventure.
